Outdoor Digital Displays at Historical Landmark

Digital Media Systems have recently installed double sided digital outdoor screens at The Piece Hall in Halifax, West Yorkshire. They enhance the visitor experience by displaying relevant information, advertisements, and other content.

Piece Hall is a historical landmark originally built in 1779 that features an open-air courtyard and is now a popular tourist attraction hosting a wide range of events throughout the year. As part of their efforts to modernise how they display information we were tasked with providing digital displays to satisfy their requirements while adding a modern touch to the courtyard.

We provided 2 imotion FLOW 46″ double-sided digital signs equipped with advanced features that provide a high quality display showing crisp and clear images in all conditions. IP56, IK10 robust enclosure ensures that the signs are vandal-proof and weather-resistant, capable of withstanding harsh outdoor conditions. The high-quality UHB displays have proven thermal management and can operate in extremely high and low temperatures.

The project has been a great success with the screens providing a modern contrast to historical architecture and providing a superb viewing experience for visitors to Halifax.
