Digital Signage in England / UK

Although our main offfice is in Elland, West Yorkshire we provide and install digital signage all over England and the UK and in fact most of our clients are outside of our local area. Our digital screens in the UK are varied and include information screens, outdoor digital signage, digital window displays and menu boards. Here are just a few recent projects we have carried out in England:

1. Stansted Airport – National Express
We removed incorrectly spec’d & installed screens by third parties and replaced them with our DMS Pro Commercial Displays that are brighter, more impactful, rugged & able to deliver the requirements of National Express and give the brand a great platform for showing their ticket & journey information. All our Digital Signage is designed & built for the requirements of the client and the environment it is due to be installed in.

We supplied and installed 2 of our 75″ Digital Window Displays for their flagship store in Manchester. Content can be updated easily using our squareVIEW DSA secure cloud based Digital Signage content management system.

3. Scarborough Council – Outdoor Digital Signage Kiosk
We installed weather and vandal proof outdoor digital sign kiosks in Scarborough as a replacement kiosk for one knocked over by a 40 ton articulated truck!
The unit is custom manufactured here in the UK and comprises 2 x 55″ Ultra High Bright 4,000 nit bright daylight readable display with Ambient Light sensor to reduce night time glare / brightness. Controlled using our squareVIEW DSA secure cloud based Content Management System. Advertising is managed by Scarborough Council’s Marketing Department. The totem stands 2.4m tall and makes an impressive statement.

4. e-Ink Digital Bus Stops in London.
We installed bus stops with e-Ink Digital Signs in London showing the arrival times of buses. eInk displays use very little power & can be used to show information that doesn’t change quickly, making them ideal for timetables and route finding.

5. Luton Airport
A number of 50″ Interactive Freestanding totems as part of the £150m refurbishment of the airport. Complete with directional audio placed around the airport to keep passengers up to date with progress. The interactive totems were wrapped with the airport branding, front and rear, providing a truly bespoke product for the locations in which they are placed.

6. Corn Exchange Theatre – Kings Lynn
As part of a £1.6 million investment by the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk in 2020 the upstairs foyer was transformed into a 2 screen cinema. The project was part of the towns aim to renew the town centre and add to the cultural offer for local residents. 4 Digital Posters were required to complete the transformation.

The 4 Digital Posters are updated remotely using the easy to use software, squareVIEW DSA, with the ability to schedule content which includes videos and pictures. These Ultra High Bright 4,000 nit IP56 units with light sensor and guaranteed to be viewable no matter how bright the sun gets. The units dim when dark & switch off when not required. Guaranteed not to go black when in direct sunlight for any number of hours.

7. Digital Signage at The Hepworth Wakefield Museum
The Hepworth museum is unique with a sculptural appearance and designed and built with most materials of bespoke design. Digital Media Systems had to consider this when implementing a digital solution as it was important the installation had to blend into the environment whilst keeping the museums modern, elegant theme.
Located centrally to the museums reception desk and set seamlessly across the back wall, Digital Media Systems installed a series of high-brightness 49″ ultra-slim commercial displays. At 700 nit brightness, and designed for 24/7 use, the commercial displays provide a dynamic and engaging platform that is clearly visible in the large, bright reception area. A further 43″ high brightness unit was installed set into the wall at the entrance to the main museum.

As can be seen we have provided a wide range of digital signage solutions in a wide variety of locations throughout England and the UK. We can supply all types of digital signage including outdoor screens, information screens, retail digital window displays, menu boards, digital easels, digital interactive whiteboards and more. We can also provide screen hire. We would welcome enquiries from businesses anywhere in the UK. Please contact us for more information.
