Digital Signage in Scotland

Although our main offfice is in Elland, West Yorkshire we provide and install digital signage all over the UK and have many clients in Scotland. Our digital screens in Scotland are varied and include information screens, outdoor digital signage, digital window displays and menu boards. Here are just a few recent projects we have carried out in Scotland:

1. Festival Theatre Edinburgh, Digital Window Displays
The Festival Theatre, Edinburgh, needed to be able to quickly update messages to the public.
Old fashioned vinyl marketing methods could not effectively communicate information in a timely manner. Digital Media Systems, specialists in digital signage, were approached by the theatre with a specific requirement: Grab attention of people on the near and far side of the road and get a message to them.

Providing an instant hit and within minutes of going live, the 75″ Ultra High Bright window displays were doing exactly what the theatre requested. For the first time in the theatres history, they were able to deliver ticket availability & other live theatre information to the public.

2. Outdoor displays – Offsite parking Glasgow Airport
Our 47″ full weather and vandal proof displays are installed around a number of sites around Glasgow Airport. They link in with the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system. When a customer approaches the barrier, the ANPR reads the vehicle number plate and triggers the display to show personalised parking space information. The barriers then lift allowing the customer to park in their allocated bay.
The units are anchored to concrete foundations and power and data is taken directly into the unit. The vandal resistant design ensures that entry points are not easily visible.

3. Western Ferries – squareVIEW Digital Signage Installation
Western Ferries approached Digital Media Systems for digital displays to be installed on all their vessels. The screens are used to display public information, timetables, safety messages and live TV during the crossing.
