Brief: Design and install and A/V system for a brightly lit assembly hall. The screen must be easily viewable from the rear of the hall.
Digital Media Systems installed a 6m x 4m electric front projection screen which weighed in at a hefty 120kg. The installation took specialist lifting gear to ensure that the screen was safely lifted into position whilst the installation team secured it from the ceiling using 5 heavy duty chains!
The 6500 lumen projector, weighing almost 15kgs, was again lifted into position using lifting equipment - now secured at over 6 metres above floor level the installation was truly a challenge - however - our experienced installation time planned meticulously and ensure that a safe installation was carried out.
The 'control' trolley allows the user to place their laptop on top and the flexibility to move around the front of the hall. Audio and Video are plugged into the trolley keeping trailing cables down to a minimum.
